Noel McCurvin's Obituary
Noel McCurvin of Boynton Beach, beloved husband and bestfriend of Sandra McCurvin, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2021. Born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1960 in St. Andrew, Jamaica to Shirley Spence and Keith McCurvin. He went to Pembroke Hall High School and furthered his studies at St. Andrew Technical School where he received his certification in Electrical Engineering. He worked in the service industry for over forty years between Jamaica and the United States--with companies like Creamy Corner, Texaco Gas Station, American Express, Fedex and most recently UPS. Noel was known for his great smile and infectious laugh. Longtime family and friends affectionately called him “Smiley” and “Cool Kat” for his pleasant and easy going demeanor. Noel took pride in being the rock of his family and devoted his life to supporting and cherishing his family. His superpowers were his perseverance and kindness. Noel never hesitated to lend a helping hand or speak a calm word. He always had the will to overcome any obstacles in his life. Noel loved the Lord and always gave God the glory for his strength and willpower. That will, along with the support of his loving wife and family, and through the grace of God, allowed him to spend 60 years with his loved ones. Noel is survived by his parents Shirley and Henry Francis and Keith McCurvin, His wife of forty one years Sandra McCurvin. His children Sherry (Jermaine) Henry, Shannon, Kristoff, Keresha and Keanu McCurvin. Grandchildren Ethan and Duke Henry, Keanu Jr. and Kamari McCurvin. His grandmother Rubie Medley, sisters Sharon, Joy and Lorraine McCurvin. Brothers Everton and Phillip Francis, and Andrew McCurvin. Uncles Eric (Dolly) Myles. George Myles, Lorel and Dudley Spence. Cousins Cally Ramsey, Janet Gregory, Deslin Powell, Patricia Campbell and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends too many to list but all near and dear to his heart.
