Mr. Pedro Guillermo Valenti's Obituary
Mr. Pedro Guillermo Valenti age 89 of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on February 13, 2015. Pedro was born in Camaguey, Cuba on June 6, 1925 to his parents, Mr. Pedro Valenti Olasabal and Mrs. Amanda Cardoso y Paz. Mr. Valenti was a self-employed builder and construction worker for most of his life. He was a master craftsman and loved working with his hands and there was nothing that he could not build, renovate or remodel, if he put his mind to it. Pedro was a devout Catholic and he loved his "Lord and Saviour", Jesus Christ. He worshipped at St. Juliana Catholic Church in West Palm Beach, Florida when he was able to attend Church. He also loved to play a good game of Domino's with Friends and Family and to go out Saltwater Fishing or sit at home listening to his Cuban "Red Neck Style" of music. For you see Pedro grew up on a Farm in his hometown of Camaguey, Cuba and his grandparents from Spain raised him from the time of his early childhood and they purchased him his own Horse with a brand new saddle made in the USA, since they were quite affluent and they cared for him after his parents untimely passing. This ecclectic country life and persona along with a zeal for the outdoors from his childhood which carried over into his adult life had shaped him into being a self sufficient, rugged and dependable man. He was a "Jack of All Trades" and he was able to provide and care for his family because of these skills that he naturally possessed. Pedro will be forever loved and missed by all those that knew and loved him! Mr. Valenti was greeted at the "Gates of Heaven" by his beloved wife, Isabelle Valenti Quintana who has been waiting for him since 2004. Pedro leaves behind to forever honor his eternal memory, his six loved children, Jesus Valenti, Ada Valenti Trujillo and husband, Oreste Trujillo, Raul Valenti, Waldina Valenti, Guillermo Vallenti and wife, Kelly Valenti and Oresti Valenti and wife, Nancy Valenti; his admired brother, Reynaldo Valenti and wife, Carmen Valenti; his adored sister, Consuelo Valenti and husband, Charlie Fernande; eight treasured grandchildren and two precious great grandchildren. Family and friends will gather and pay respects on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3691 Seacrest Boulevard, Lantana, Florida 33462, (561) 586-1237. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 19, 2015 in the Chapel of Palm Beach Memorial Park with Reverend Fidel Nino the celebrant. Burial will follow in Palm Beach Memorial Park Cemetery, 3691 Seacrest Boulevard, Lantana, Florida 33462, (561) 585-6444. Online condolences can be shared at: www.palmbeachmemorial.com.
