Ralph J. Venezio's Obituary
Ralph J. Venezio age 79 of Boca Raton, Florida passed away peacefully on June 17, 2013 at his residence with his loving wife of 59 years, Gerry at his bedside. Ralph was born on February 9, 1935 in Inwood, New Jersey to the late Mr. Joseph Venezio and the late Mrs. Helen (nee Pelmari) Venezio. Ralph was a Master Mechanic in the Automobile Industry for may years before retiring. He was a strong man and served his country as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corp. from 1958 until the begining of the Vietnam War in 1961. He loved his family and always stood up for them; a real tough as nails exterior but teddy bear underneath in his heart. He was a stand up type of guy; no one was ever a stranger around him and he could handle his own business if necessary. Ralph loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and had accepted him into his heart and has gone home to meet him in Heaven above. He will be forever honored and treasured by his loving wife, Geraldine "Gerry" Venezio and his brother, Anthony Venezio and his wife, Kathy and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather and pay respects from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Monday, June 23, 2014 at Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3691 Seacrest Boulevard, Lantana, Florida 33462, (561) 586-1237. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 12:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel of Palm Beach Memorial Park on Monday, June 23, 2014 with Father Michael Parrotta of St. Rita Catholic Church in Wellington, Florida the Celebrant. Military Honors will be bestowed upon the family by the United States Marine Corp. Honor Guard at 1:45 PM, Monday, June 23, 2014 in the South Florida VA National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida 33449, (561) 649-6489.
