Ms. Rebecca Laster Mackey-Williams' Obituary
Ms. Rebecca Laster Mackey-Williams age 44 of Lantana, Florida was called home to be with the Lord on February 24, 2015 and was greeted at the Gates of Heaven by her father, John Williams who has been waiting for her arrival since 1986. Rebecca was a kind, loving and gentle person; who loved to pass out hugs and kisses to everyone that she met. She also loved to conversate with anyone who would lend her their ear for a little while or a length of time. She liked to take long bike rides and take in the great outdoors or go out fishing in the Ocean or a Fresh Water Lake. Her greatest passion was spending quality time looking after and taking care of her children and grandchildren. Because of her strong Christian Faith and love for her Lord and Savior, Rebecca exemplified the words as taught by Jesus and told in the Book of Mark 12:30-31(NIV); “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” “The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” She was a Loving Daughter, Mother and Grandmother and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her! Rebecca is survived by her loving and devoted mother, Annie Mackey; her six loved children, Eric Williams and his wife, Priscilla, James Magee, Diana Jones and her husband, Johnny, Alicia Hankerson, Darnell Razz and Brandon Newman; her five admired brothers and sisters, Mary Laster, Jimmy Mackey, Sampson Williams, Cathy Clinton and her husband, Gary and John Williams; and her five treasured grandchildren Those planning expressions of sympathy are asked to consider making a donation to assist with the funeral for Ms. Rebecca Laster Mackey-Williams by contacting her brother, John Williams at (561) 480-6227 or by contacting her uncle, Ron Laster at (561) 251-4718 they are in charge of planning for the funeral.
