Richard Patrick Doyle, Sr. (December 23, 1929-October 10, 2017)
Richard Patrick Doyle, Sr., 87, of Delray Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday night, October 10, 2017. A loving husband, a caring and giving father, Richard loved his children deeply and was so very proud of each and every one of them. Richard P. Doyle was born December 23, 1929 in Bronx, New York. He is a Korean War Veteran. He married his childhood sweetheart, Alice Anderson on June 18, 1954. They moved to Larchmont, New York, and in 1968, they moved to Deerfield Beach, Florida where they raised their family in the sun and fun.
Richard is survived by his five children, Mary Alice Reinken and husband Andrew of Ankeny, Iowa, Patricia Doyle of Tucker, Georgia, Richard Patrick Doyle, Jr. and wife Sharon of Ft. Myers, Florida, Kathleen Evans and husband David of Cumming, Georgia, Eileen Giffin of Boynton Beach, Florida, seven grandchildren,
two great grandchildren, two sisters: Marge Schneider, Jean Schneider and husband Henry, John Doyle and wife Vickie, all of New York, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick Doyle and Anna (Mooney) Doyle, and his wife Alice (Anderson) Doyle in 1988.
A celebration of Richard’s life will be held at 10:00 am., Monday October 16, 2017 at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church located at 840 George Busch Boulevard, Delray Beach, Florida. A Memorial will follow shortly thereafter at the Boca Raton Mausoleum and Cemetery located at 451 SW 4th Avenue, Boca Raton, Florida 33432.
