Robert Smallwood's Obituary
Robert S Smallwood (Bob), 91 years of age, passed away January 30, 2024 while under Hospice care at Palm Beach Gardens Hospital. He was born April 30, 1932 in Camden, Ohio and grew up in Carlisle, Ohio. He married his high school sweetheart Mary Stephens and he was a US Navy Korean War veteran. He was a mail carrier for the US Postal Service in Franklin Ohio and Palm Beach Florida, combined for 30+ years. In 1967 they moved their family to South Florida, raising their children in the Palm Beach Gardens area.
Bob is survived by his children, Tom Smallwood, Kenny Smallwood, Becky Smallwood, Julie (Smallwood) McLaughlan. Bob has eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, numerous other family members and friends. Predeceased by his wife Mary in 2011.
Internment will take place at the Florida National Cemetery at a future date.
