Ruth Lois Discher's Obituary
Ruth Lois Discher went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 19, 2025. "What will it be to dwell above, no heart can think, no tongue can tell, what joy it will be with Christ to dwell. " She was born in Paterson, New Jersey in 1943 and came to West Palm Beach in 1945. She worked as a secretary in insurance and for her husband's landscape business, and as a teacher's aide at Eisenhower Elementary School. She graduated from Palm beach High School and attended Palm Beach Junior College. Her main interest was teaching Sunday School and Children's Ministry at Grace and Truth Chapel, West Palm Beach, for over 50 years. She was an elder caretaker for almost 15 years. She was dedicated to raising her 6 children to love and serve the Lord. Besides Grace and Truth Chapel, she also attended Faith Church in Fort Pierce. "If you could only see me now, you'd know I've seen His face, you'd never want me to ever leave this perfect place, If you could only see me now." She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Claire Rang, her brothers, John and Robert Rang, and her husband of 51 years Richard K. Discher in 2015. She is survived by her sons Robert Discher of Orlando, Don (Nancy) Discher of Tennessee, Rick Discher of Daytona; daughters, Angela Discher Morales of Washington & Kyrgyzstan, Robin Discher of PSL, Deborah (Jeff) Discher Wegner of Wellborn; sister, Leah (Joe) Deviny Charlotte, NC; grandsons, Bradley (Catelyn), Jeremy (Hilary), Randall, Jarett (Brittney), Jonah (Tyra), Daniel and David Wegner, Christopher (Lynnette), Nathan (Abby), Paul (Brittany), Alphonso Morales, Timothy McKin, granddaughters, Jaycie and Donna Wegner; great granddaughters Emma, Ava, Savannah, Ariel Wegner and Cordelia Morales, great grandsons Jett, Eli, Adrian Wegner and Calvin and Micah Morales and many nieces and nephews.
