Sally Dreier Sands' Obituary
Sally Dreier Sands age 73 of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on July 11, 2014. Sally was born on June 28, 1941 in Hartford, Connecticut to her eagerly awaiting parents, the late Mr. John Frederick Dreier, Jr. and the late Mrs. Adeline B. (nee Cole) Dreier. Sally has resided in the Boynton Beach area for the past twelve years coming from her hometown of Guilford, Connecticut. Sally loved being on the water; whether it was pleasure riding on a boat or sitting on the seashore sunbathing in the warm South Florida sunshine. She also loved to travel abroad taking river cruises in Europe; one of her most memorable was the Rhine River Cruise. Sally will be remembered for her resourceful, creative, crafty and handy nature; she could virtually take any materials and create a workable item from just those basic items placed in front of her. Besides that she was a scrappy and strong willed person; very independent in her ways and always took the high road to success. She helped and nurtured many people throughout her formal career as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Field. Sally valued friendship and put great effort into creating long lasting relationships with those who knew and loved her. She also loved spending quality time with her treasured grandchildren; Meghan and Dylan. Sally has been called home to join her family in Heaven! She will be forever treasured and honored by her two loved children, Darrell Dodge and his wife, Tanya and Beth Dodge; and her two treasured grandchildren, Meghan and Dylan Dodge. Family and friends will gather to visit and pay respects on Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Palm Beach Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3691 Seacrest Boulevard, Lantana, Florida 33462, (561) 586-1237.
