Sally R. Walters' Obituary
Mrs. Sally R. Walters age 85 formerly of Lumberton, North Carolina was born to the late Daniel Cade and Lelar Smith, March 24, 1936.
She attended the public schools of Robeson County and graduated from Hilly Branch High School in 1954.
She settled in West Hempstead, New York for 40 years. She retired from Bank of America after 30 years of service.
In the year of 1993, she along with her family relocated to the Sunshine State of Florida. She continued to work at the Broward County Public School System for 10 year before retiring.
Preceded her in death was her husband, Audley A. Walters who passed, June 1, 2007.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter Sherron Veronica
Walters-Stricklin, son, Audley A. Walters, Jr., daughter-in-law Celeste Walters; grand daughter Suncerae Morgan Walters; and grandson Tony Agustas Stricklin- one sister Blanche McEachern, two brothers Lawrence Cade and Smith Cade, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Sally was truly a devoted Christian. Singing in her church choir, serving in Women's Ministry, Elder Sr. Bible Study and Youth Leadership.
A great women has passed, her presence cannot be replaced,
consolation will fill our heart because I know she did her best and now with God in peace she will rest.
