Sandra Louise Mapes' Obituary
Sandra Louise (Moore) Mapes, "Beloved Mother, Sister and Grandmother" slipped away into the Arms of the Angels on July 7, 2014. Sandra was born on January 30, 1954 in Ashville, North Carolina to her eagerly awaiting parents, the late Mr. Samuel Moore and the late Mrs. Joann (nee Bradford) Moore. Sandra moved to the Palm Beach County area approximately fifty years ago settling in the Royal Palm Beach area and later settling in Greenacres, Florida. She was a very hard working Lady and started her own business, Bright Star Cleaning forty years ago. Sandra was a devoted mother and loved taking care of her family. She liked to cook a gourmet meal for her family and friends and sew beautiful items to present to her family and friends during Christmas, Birthdays or Special occasions. Sandra loved her "Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ" and worshipped at the Hypoluxo Baptist Church in Hypoluxo, Florida. Sandra leaves behind to forever treasure her life story a loving and devoted daughter, Julie Ann Mapes; her two adored siblings, Priscilla Mesa and Richard Moore; her three precious grandchildren, Victoria Ortiz, Alexandra Majauskas and Gabriella Majauskas; and her adopted and loved nephew, Thomas Moore and nephew, Nathan Moore. The family will be having a Celebration of Life Service to Honor the Life of Sandra Louise Mapes in Bryant Park, Lake Avenue, Lake Worth, Florida (www.lakeworth.org/visitors/parks/) on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 11:00AM under the Pavillion in the Park. A Barbecue and Pot Luck Dinner will follow the ceremones for family and friends. "The family encourages friends to bring a dish, food item or beverages to contribute to the food and fellowship that will follow the service".
