John Burns And Sharon
John Burns was a dear friend who enjoyed going out with Stanley to feast, go to the ballgames, doctors’ appointments, the store, his brokers, shopping or just socializing with friends. His favorite restaurant was Ruth Chris and Sweet Tomatoes. Stanley enjoyed being with John who depended on him when Rose was in New York little things like just to button his cuffs or anything he needed John was always there for him.
He will miss his dear friend and confident. The building will miss Stanley. He always went to the meetings and sat by John’s side to let them know how he felt about what they did. John played the liaison between Rose and Stanley. When Rose needed something when she was in New York she could always count on John to take care of the issue.
Stanley enjoyed his music and he sang his favorite songs to John. He also sang by the pool with all his friends where he spent several hours catching up on the news and enjoying the poolside.
John would watch the football games, tennis matches, baseball, basketball, and of course tennis was his favorite. He found comfort in John. John’s fiancée remembers when he would graciously invite John and Sharon up to his place to watch the fireworks on Fourth of July. He would watch and sing the songs as we watched the event unravel outside the condo and then on television and Stanley would talk about how great New York was and say that was my home isn’t it beautiful.
When Stanley gets to heaven he will look down and guide us all.
We will miss him and love him and will celebrate his life achievements so goodbye for now Stanley we will meet again one day and thank you once again for sharing your life with us.
