Susan S Frisby's Obituary
Susan S Frisby, 94, of Boynton Beach, Florida and formerly of Huntington, New York, passed away on August 23, 2021. She was born on August 9,1927 in Hempstead, New York to parents Theodore and Catherine Coll. After high school, she married the love of her life, Raymond Frisby. The family moved to Huntington, New York where they raised five beautiful children. Susan was a member of the Huntington Country Club and Huntington Crescent Club where she was an avid golfer bringing home over a dozen club championships. Susan was also very involved in her children’s activities and church youth group at Old First Church in Huntington, NY. She loved being involved in charitable events and was very generous with her time and resources. Besides golf, Susan enjoyed playing cards and other competitive games with friends and family. One of her favorite pastimes was challenging her children and grandkids in miniature golf. Two of her other loves were gardening and her precious cats. Susan is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and beloved husband, Raymond Frisby who referred to her as Suzie Q.
Susan is survived by her children, Raymond Frisby Jr, (Sunny); Jeff Frisby (Debbie); Greg Frisby (Deidre); Cathy Austen (Howard); and Doug Frisby; twelve Grandchildren: Jeffry, Brandon, MK, Alec, Dax, Pearl, Lucian, Clara, Allye, Abby, Chase and Patrick; ten great-grandchildren as well as numerous extended family members that she loved dearly. She will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to the charity of your choice.
Susan’s memorial service will be held at Palm Beach Memorial Chapel, 3691 Seacrest Blvd., Lantana, FL 33462 on Monday, August 30th, 2021, at 11am. Visitation begins at 10am.
