Thomas Stone's Obituary
Thomas A. Stone passed away Sunday September 1, 2019 at home in Palm Springs surrounded by his family.
Tom was born in Indiana October 11, 1949. He retired from the US Postal Service in 2015, and had camaraderie with his co-workers. He was also a Vietnam veteran. He loved his wife, his family, fishing and his cats. The "Cat Whisperer" was one term of endearment as was MOD (My Other Dad) and Paw.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Betty; Step-Daughters Julie (Marc) of Jensen Beach; Jill (Russ)of West Palm Beach; Tracey (Dale) of Lake Worth; step-son Jody of West Palm Beach; his mother Rose of Georgetown, GA; sister Karen (Lark) of Madison, FL; brothers Roger of Austin, TX; David (Peggy) of West Palm Beach; James (Cathy) of Okeechobee, FL, five grandchildren Jimmy, Mike, Ben, Ryan, Bianca and three great-grandchildren Wyatt, Grace and Elena.
He was predeceased by his father Roger Stone of West Palm Beach, stepson Jim Morton of Lake Worth, FL, and grandson Steven Hill of West Palm Beach FL.
A memorial service will be held for family and friends on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Palm Beach Memorial Park Cemetery, 3691 Seacrest Blvd., Lantana, FL 33462.
