Mrs. Vanna Josephine Pomianek's Obituary
Mrs. Vanna Josephine Pomianek age 85 of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away on December 20, 2014. Vanna moved to the South Florida area twenty years ago from New Jersey. She was a very caring and giving person; always giving of her time, talents and resources to her family and friends and anyone in need of assistance. She was a loved to sing and had a beautiful operatic voice and style and she sang in her church choir. Vanna was the best mother anyone could have wished for in this lifetime. She was totally loving and devoid of any selfish acts; her heart was pure like gold. Vanna worked for the Johnson and Johnson Company for many years as a Inspector until she retired from Johnson and Johnson Company. Vanna was a communicant of the Catholic Faith and regularly attended St. Mathew Catholic Curch in Lantana, Florida. She is survived by her daughter, Simonette J. Skoczen and her husband, Robert Skoczen, Michelle Tipton and Glen Pomianek and his wife, Kathy Pomianek; five grandchildren, Christina Tipton, Vanna Pomianek and Joe Pomianek, Kristin Collins and Kimberly Chapman; and six great grandchildren. A Graveside Service and Catholic Burial Rites will be held 1:15 PM, Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida 33449, (561) 649-6489 with Father Rick Riccardi officiating.
