Mr. William Richard Milburn's Obituary
Mr. William Richard Milburn age 77 of Boca Raton, Florida was called home by the Great Architect of the Universe on April 18, 2015. William was born on February 8, 1938 in Louisville, Kentucky to his loving parents, Mr. William Briscoe Milburn and Mrs. Grace (nee Wyatt) Haley. William joined the United States Marine Corp. on September 26, 1955 where he received his training as an Aviation Mechanic. He was also presented the Good Conduct Medal prior to being Honorably Discharged on September 25, 1959. After completing his duties with the United States Military, William followed his Aviation Mechanics Career and went to work for several small Fixed Based Operators for a number of years and then he gained employment with Pratt-Whitney Aeronautics for several years. Then William gained employment with National Airlines for a few years and during this employment he also bought into and operated a small aircraft engine overhaul facility, Aircraft Engine Services. During this time William maintained working 2 full time jobs for 11 years. Then in 1975 William teamed up with Ernest Moritz and became a Co-Owner of Airmark Engines, Inc. and Airmark Overhaul, Inc.and worked there until his retirement. William was also the Co-Founder of Airmark Components, Inc. Bill was a single engine rated pilot. William was a member of the Masonic Body and his home lodge was Eureka Lodge # 269 in Dania Beach, Florida and he was also a member of the dependent body of the Shriner's of South Florida. Some of William's other interests included watching old Western Movies starring his favorite actor, John Wayne. He also enjoyed putting together Model Aircraft and Radio Controlled Airplanes; as well as raising miniature horses and various other farm animals. He was a true Animal Lover bonding with God's other gifts to Humanity. All of his Godly Gifts combined together and created a hardworking, honest, generous, "Man of Integrity" with a Teddy Bear persuasion possessing a "Heart of Gold". He deeply loved his wife and children and he not only provided for their basic essential needs, but supplied them with a steady supply of love and affection. William Richard Milburn will be forever loved and honored by his family, friends and those that knew and loved him. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of fifty six years, Joyce Milburn; his two adored daughters, Debra Dillon and husband, Robert and Kimberly Williams and husband, David; his admired sister, Betty Harvey; four treasured grandchildren, Jennifer Shapiro and husband, Kevin, Danielle Harber and husband, Joey, Tamara Williams and Brittany Williams; and four precious great grandchildren, Noah, River, Makenna and Mason.
