WILLIAM JOHN MINKEL
(BILL)
February 26, 1931 – January 10, 2017
Bill was born in Trafford, PA to John and Marie Minkel, both deceased. His brother, Steve, and his 1st grandson, Daley, predeceased him. Bill is survived by his wife, Vivia, daughter, Marie Viviano (Jim) and son, William J. Minkel, Jr.-Willie (Debby). Bill also has 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was very proud of all of them. Bill worked for AT&T/BellSouth for 31 years as a Switchman. He also worked for Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office for 10 years in the Radio Shop as a Radio Tech. He served our country during the Korean War on a submarine. Bill had a favorite saying that many remember him for, “Ask me if I give a @#$%”.
