Yolanda Alva's Obituary
Our beloved friend, Yolanda Alva 89 years old, of Greenacres , Florida passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving friends on January 29th 2026.
She was born in Lima Peru, to Roberto Alva and Isidora Parra on June 30th 1936. She had two brothers, Jose Alva Parra and Luis Antonio Alva Parra. She was an amazing human being, a women of great faith, and a loving and caring person.
She was a very talented women, she worked at Lord & Taylor in New York. She was a devoted daughter to her mother Isidora and worked very hard to provide for her. She was also a great sister, aunt, cousin and a remarkable friend.
Her passions were spending time with her friends, soap operas, especially Mexican classic movies, and social media. She was also very devoted to El Senor de los Milagros, and San Martin de Porres.
She leaves behind her nephews Roberto Alva Chavesta, Carlos Antonio Alva Chavesta, Cesar Augusto Portuguez Chavesta, and nieces Yovana Niebhurt, and Flor de Maria Portuguez Chvesta, and her cousin August Carranza and his family.
She loved to donate to St Jude Children Hospital.
Yolanda will be deeply missed by her family and by all that knew and loved her.
