BOEHM, Z. Margaret
Margaret Boehm (nee Wax), age 94, a 40+ year resident of Singer Island, FL passed away on August 12, 2018. She was born in Bloomville, Ohio, residing most of her early adult years in southeastern Michigan. She is predeceased by her husband, William S. Boehm and survived by daughters, Mrs. Marcia Stewart (m. William Stewart) of Evart MI and Mrs. Christine Mazglad (m. Dan Mazglad) of Henderson NV; sons, Dr. William Boehm of Lone Pine CO and Douglas Boehm (m. Judy Renton Boehm) of Jupiter FL as well as her grandchildren, Chad Stewart, Matthew Stewart and Jennifer Boehm and great grandchildren, Logan Stewart, Teague Stewart and Tyler and Aaron LeCoumpte. She is also survived by 3 siblings: Nevin Wax, Anita Moneghan and Howard Wax.
Margaret was a woman of many talents. She loved to volunteer whether at church rummage sales, preparing Meals on Wheels, making/serving meatloaf for a local homeless shelter or serving as the co-chair of her condominium social committee. She was an active member of various Lions Clubs for nearly 70 years including being a charter member of the Palm Beach Gardens Lions Club. Margaret was a stellar role model who loved family and country. Her family nominated her for the National Women’s Hall of Fame Book of Lives and Legacies on the occasion of her 90th birthday. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Lions Club (LCIF.org) in lieu of flowers. An 11am memorial service is scheduled at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church Peace Chapel, 3395 Burns Rd in Palm Beach Gardens on Saturday, August 18th to be immediately followed by a Celebration of Life gathering at Aquarius, 5440 N Ocean Drive, on Singer Island.
