RIP 'El Guapo'
Adam...we had so many good times together over the last five years; from Thanksgiving with Sadie, you and my family to the nights out on Clematis. You were such a kind, beautiful person who was always there for me. I miss you & you'll forever have a place in my heart.
Adam, although I did not know you very well as a friend, it was pleasure talking with you often as I ate lunch and worked part-time at the Sailfish Club. Your friendliness and humble personality will be missed by so many. Officer La'Mont Lee
We were all in the commsta bored and tired and here this fool comes acting like a homosexual. he walk up to some of the femail sailors and say "Damn your hips are speading like peanut butter!" all they could do was laugh! The radio was playing and Prince " the most beautiful Girl in the world" was playing. he said Aww Dayum this is my song! and he did that "dance".., It was SO DAMNED FUNNY! he was singing and dancing and we ALL HAD TEARS in our eyes Some was even on the deck LAUGING SO HARD! He had a way to make EVERYONE laugh when we were down. he was a TRUE TALENT....I WILL TRULY MISS PARKER... FAIR WINDS AND FOLLOWING SEAS SAILOR. I Pray for your soul to find true peace.
I'll definitely post some pictures as I get them, but my great memories with Adam were all of the times he and I would take off and go shooting to get practice in for the club shoots. I first became acquainted with Adam when I had signed up as a single shooter and was paired with him for the very first club shoot, which he was responsible for initiating and has become a favorite club event. It just won't be quite the same without him there, but we will all hold him close in our hearts and know that his spirit will be with us at every tournament.
I worry about little Sadie. She was the light of Adam's life. He was a terrific father to her and she adored him.
If there's anything that I can do to help ease the pain for his family, or anyone else, please don't hesitate to contact me. The club has my information.
Adam, so many of us love you, more than you could have ever known and you touched so many lives in such a wonderful way. You will never be forgotten and we will make sure of that! Godspeed, my dear friend...........
