Cynthia was a political powerhouse. I loved every opportunity to work with her and knowing that she was a friend and ally only made our interactions mean so much more to me. When I ran for a seat on the PBC County Commission, she brought me to the Forum Club whenever my schedule allowed. We were both members of the Steering Committee for Democracy For America in Palm Beach County. I moved to Portland, Oregon five years ago and only received the news about Cynthia a few moments ago. Losing this woman is devastating. None of us will live forever but I somehow assumed she would still be as active as ever. I am certain that the current political climate would enrage her beyond words. Cynthia, you gave the best hugs and I am hugging you right now. You will always be alive and thriving in my heart. Inspiring me to be the best version of myself and I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to know you. Rest in Power, dearest Cynthia. - Rick Neuhoff
