Sharing “a” memory of Marion is so hard because I have so many wonderful memories. We were both at St Elizabeths and involved in the music. I remember when she came to Boone. What a gorgeous family and Marion and Tom were wonderful additions to our little church community. Eventually Jimmy and then Stephen played keyboard with our guitar group. In recent years I began playing tennis with the Boone group Marion had played with for years and years. We kept in touch and she played tennis with us when she would return to Boone in the summers. The tennis group and our church group were very fond of her. She was always so supportive of her family and loved the joy that her children brought to people through their music.
My fondest memory was playing tennis with her recently after so many years of knowing her through the church. She was a true competitor, with her very mild and soft disposition, she was tough on the court. And we reminisced all the time. Such good times.
To the family I offer my thoughts and prayers. She will be sorely missed. She was held in a position of esteem by so many who truly loved her, yes she will be missed.
Love to you all
