May you rest in peace my friend. We had some good times working at Lowes. Lots of laughs and silliness when work was stressful. I was lucky to have met you. You will be missed

Cowboys!
To my beloved brother, my heart smiles thinking of all the joys in life we had, the cool games, ice-skating in the side yard, cowboys in our pup-tent, hockey in the street during winter and fishing with Dad in the summer.
Mike The Builder!
Mike at 3 yrs old in 1948 with his first tool box. WOW! Taking after his grandfather Edwin Lasseter as a carpenter and continued through his whole life. "Now that's determination and accomplishment!"
After the Navy he started working construction jobs in Rochester NY, not liking the cold weather, Mike,Leslie and (daughter Trycia) moved to Florida.
Earning a teaching degree at Florida State University; he was able to teach at South Tech College. Thereafter, Mike owned a business doing construction and cabinetmaking. He also worked as a Town Planner for city of Boynton Beach Building Dept. His last place of employment was a Kitchen Cabinet Designer working at Lowes. Touching the lives of many with his knowledge and inspiring all to do their best. To his credit was raising four loving and kind children. I would often call him on some of my projects for his expert advice ... Always hitting the nail on the head!
Love you Bro
Two Sailors!
A proud Mom, I think Mike was home for Christmas holiday 1967. After I turned 18 I got my draft notice so I talked to Mike and he gave me very good advice to join the Navy asap. After Mike’s tour in the Navy, in 1968 Leslie and Mike got Married at St. John church in Rochester. N.Y. and started their family in Rochester and Florida.
Mike, I am so sorry you had to suffer, through a long terrible heart disease at only 77. Your time on earth was cut way too short. I guess God needs a good carpenter, I prayed every day for you, I miss you so much and always will. Our memories will last forever.
Rest In Peace

Leslie and Family:
We share in grieving the loss of Mike. We truly loved him and treasure the times spent with you and Mike in upstate NY and down in Florida. All of you are in our prayers.

Chris would have wanted to leave a tribute herself, yet she would have been very sad and hurt to learn of his passing. I will speak for her and say what I know is true: She loved Mike so much ...
