Michael Edwin Haag's Obituary
We are heartbroken to announce the death of our father, Michael E. Haag. He passed away peacefully on March 9th, 2023, at the age of 77 in West Palm Beach surrounded by family.
Mike was born Sept 20, 1945, to Robert & Hazel (Lasseter) Haag. They raised Mike and brother Douglas in Rochester, New York.
Dad was an amazing person, and a wonderful father. He was a veteran, master builder, thorough teacher, avid golfer, meticulous planner, and all-around family man. He loved us all, and in turn we loved him right back.
He worked in construction, which was truly his passion. He was always proud of his work, as he should be. It was always Perfect and if anybody was lucky enough to have his input on anything, they got his best.
Over the years he worked as a teacher at South Technical College and Palm Beach Junior College, then went on to work for many years at Boynton Beach Building Dept. He ended his career at Lowes Home Improvement in Boynton Beach and then retired. All along his journey he met many lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Hazel, and Robert Haag. We are sure that they are giving him a tour of his new space, and that he is taking all the measurements.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie, daughters, Trycia (Robert) Carlton, their children Brandi, Amber, & Emily; Donna (Brandon) Strandell, their children Sarah & Thomas; Teresa (John) Salamone and children Zack & Stephanie; son, Mark (Laura) Haag.
He is also survived by his beloved brother, Doug and his wife, Marilyn, along with their children, Brenda & Jason.
Rest in Peace Dad aka Pops!
