June 13, 2016 - Hi Mom, it has been 2 years since you went to be with Our Lord. I had a mass said in your memory at Holy Name and flowers on the altar dedicated to you for the week, TULIPS your favorite! Jessica and Riley, your great granddaughter and I went to mass Sunday in your memory. Riley is a good girl in church, we sit up front and she looks around at everything and smiles at people.
You would just love Riley. Now I know how you felt as a grandmother when I was blessed with Jessica, no words can tell of the joy she has brought into my lonely life. Riley is a happy baby and Jessica and Jon are doing a good job raising her. I have been telling her about Jesus and when she touches my crucifix on the chain around my neck, I tell her who He is and to kiss Jesus and she is now doing it. She loves to look at the bubble screen saver on my computer. We walk around the lake and see the ducks. I taught her how to clap and I count 1, 2, 3, when I pull on the chain of the fan. She is so smart, curious and determined to do things. Standing, walking and Jessica has about 50 pairs of shoes for her already!
I moved into my villa this weekend, oh my aching back but it is worth it. Pray for me that the closing on my condo will happen on June 24!
