Ken, I hope you get to see this, even though I'm a few years late.
I somehow came across Rowland's memorial page here in 2025. It got me to thinking about your dad, and mine. Rowland was a unique man and someone who I emulated as I matured and became an adult. Respect for the individual, hard worker, and a independent thinker. I cannot tell you how many times he took time out of his busy day to pay attention to me, a small bothersome child. He allowed me to hang out with my father during the summers. He could have easily said, no way I will not subject my business to that, but he didn't. Those are some of the most fondest memories I have of my father. I learned so much from him during those summers. He was great with his hands and a fantastic problem solver. I pay my respect to your father, and mine, every day because they helped shape me into the man I am today. I will never forget you and your family. I know it seems small and trivial to the average person, but your father left a forever impact on my life.
