I am Lewis Perelmutter PHD ,fellow scientist .ive known Steve for 40 years.We shared good times together.He was like a brother to me.ive written a book recently and have added a memorial paragraph .He was a true friend and I loved him .Lew
So sorry to hear of the passing of Steven. I have fond memories of Uncle Stevie from our childhood trips to Hershey, visits to Chelsea, and his pop-up visits to Massachusetts. As he aged, he reminded me more & more of Papa Elky. He always had a smile, a chuckle, and a story from his childhood to relate. Stevie helped me through the loss of my mother and my father (his brother). I will always be appreciative of that. I know they had great brotherly love despite their age & geographic difference .. Although I didn’t see him much in recent years, I will miss him; the last of that generation. My sincere condolences on his loss. - David Smith
