I always enjoyed Walter's funny stories and his life experiences! When they came to visit their daughter, Diane and her husband, Scott, we truly appreciated and enjoyed visiting with them. He will be truly missed.....Rest in peace Walter.

My deepest sympathy to you. Walter was a special person and it was a gift to have visited with you in December. I am so glad I have those wonderful memories of us together and I will treasure them always.
Walter lived his life to the fullest and encouraged everyone around him to do the same. I cannot forget his favorite sayings "Life is Good" & "Man, I have had a good life."
He was a generous, loving , hard working family man. An inspiration to all who meet him. And he made friends with everyone.. because he talked to Everyone! The world was his friend.

I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Walt was a very special man. I have wonderful memories of skiing on Black, shoveling snow from the roof, cookouts in Lakeville, playing at the bog & visits at my house. You have always been extra special to me and I will always be grateful for having you in my life. I will never forget his wonderful smile and laugh.

It's hard to express the heart felt sadness we have because Walt isn't here with us any longer. He was a wonderful man, kind, generous and always looking on the bright side of life. Roger loved every single day he had the priviledge of working with Walt at "Egger Bog." We both loved spending time with Walter and Nancy cruising the Intercoastal or walking the beach in St Maarten. It is hard to think about Walter in any other way then with wonderful and happy memories and the joy he shared with everyone he knew.
